Vanessa Cheffings

Vaness won up to Advanced medium affiliated dressage on the stallion De Beer. She has been backing and starting young horses for over 30 years and has also bred very succesful youngstock during this time

De Beers Delfi  3rd in her first CCI* as a 6 year old

Tim Cheffings

Advanced level event rider F.E.I. CCI**. long listed for the young rider event team 2003. Represented the South West Junior team in 2001 and 2002, finishing 8th and 13th. Tim has been riding all his life and is aiming to become a top event rider, with his sights set on Badminton and Burghley. Most of Tim’s rides are homebred youngsters he has backed amd brought on himself: De Beers Duchess, De Beers Dynamite and Downe Right Rebel (his Mayhill stallion) to name a few.

Clare Wilson (Head girl)

An advanced event rider F.E.I.CCI**, Clare has backed and brought on her own horse De Beers Dominic to Advanced eventing level and he is also a grade B showjumper. She also had considerable success with Charlie Kimberlyte who she backed and brought on to Intermediate eventing, and grade B showjumping, as well as twice winning the part bred arab performance shield for the most points won over the year. Recently Clare won a pre-novice on Ask Jeeves at her first attempt.
