Tim had a wonderful outing at the Chepstow International Event.
He had an excellent 3rd place aboard Primitive Knight (by Primitive Rising) after a stunning 29 point dressage and good xc and sj rounds.
Downe Right Rebel, the Mayhill Stallion who now also stands at stud had a 10th place, in the Intermediate, showing excellent potential with a 29 dressage, the performance only slightly marred by a showjumping error. His x-country was excellent. Downe Right Rebel was then rushed off to cover a mare, which says a lot for his temperament!
The previous weekend The Cheffings did really well at STOCKLAND LOVELL where The Cheffings had a wonderful day:
Tim WON the Intro, sec A., on Hawkes Bay (by Mayhill),owned by Jeannette Perkins, finishing on his excellent dresage score of 31.
He also WON pre Nov., sec J on De Beers Detonator,(by Vanessa’s Warmblood stallion De Beer) a homebred horse, finishing on the fantastic dressage score of 22.9.
Just Edmond (by Tinsly Faerie Legend) came 6th in a very tight class where a single show-jump down proved expensive.
Primitive Knight followed suit with a fantastic score of 30, which saw him beaten only a single point in Novice, sec. P.
All in all a well deserved day of success for the Cheffings horses!
